We started this place for a plain reason. The advice about family life that was out there felt either preachy, fake, or both. We wanted somewhere honest.
Who we are
Not therapists, not experts, nothing official. Ordinary people who have lived the real, bumpy reality of marriage and parenting, and picked up a thing or two worth sharing.
What we believe
That families come in every shape, and none of them is the right one. That the warmth is in small, everyday moments rather than big productions. And that admitting you do not have it figured out is more useful than pretending you do.
What you will find
Plain writing, a bit of warmth, and no perfect families. Just ideas worth trying, from people still working it out themselves, in the hope that something here makes an ordinary evening at home a little better.
